Scholarship Program Details and Application Requirements for
Czech Students (Academic Year 2025/2026)
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine is pleased to offer State scholarships for Czech students wishing to study in Ukraine for the 2025/2026 academic year.
- Full-time Bachelor’s/Master's /PhD degree programs (3 scholarships).
Eligible Fields of Study:
The scholarship covers the following items:
- tuition fees for students of Bachelor’s /Master’s/PhD degree programs;
- tuition fees for students of one-year preparatory course for purpose studying the training language;
- accommodation at the university dormitory with payment the same as for citizens of Ukraine;
- monthly allowance according to the legislation of Ukraine (for the students of Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD degree programs);
- health services according to the legislation of Ukraine.
- Czech citizenship.
- Possession of the appropriate education level (general secondary education, Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree).
Please note that the documents listed in items 2-4 must be translated into Ukrainian with a notarized translation.
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic is kindly requested to forward the applicants' documents to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine by March 31, 2025.
Upon receiving an affirmative decision from the Ukrainian authorities, applicants should arrive at their designated Ukrainian universities by no later than September 10, 2025, for Bachelor s/Master’s/PhD degree students, and by October 31, 2025, for students attending the one-year preparatory course.
Upon arrival, applicants must submit the following documents:
An application form (provided by the host institution).
The original and a copy of the document verifying the previously obtained educational qualification, which serves as the basis for admission.
The original and a copy of the supplement to the document verifying the previously obtained educational qualification (if applicable).
For applicants to Master's/PhD degree programs, the original and a copy of the document detailing the educational program, credits earned, study terms, and academic performance (if this information is not included in the diploma supplement).
A valid passport.
A valid health insurance policy (to be purchased upon arrival in Ukraine).
Four photographs (30x40 mm).
Document Requirements:
Documents listed in items 2-4 must be translated into Ukrainian and notarized.
Recognition of foreign educational documents will take place during the first term of study.
Additional Notes:
The language of instruction is Ukrainian. Before starting their degree programs, students must complete a one-year preparatory course to achieve the required level of proficiency in the Ukrainian language (no monthly allowance is provided during this period).
Please note that the Ukrainian authorities do not cover the costs of foreign educational document recognition, annual health insurance, temporary residence permit issuance, legalization or apostille of Ukrainian educational documents, visa, or travel expenses.
